Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using AntiMatter AV software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on the number of devices specified in your license
  • Receive virus definition updates during your active subscription
  • Access technical support through authorized channels

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
  • Sublicense, lease, rent, or lend the Software
  • Use the Software for malicious purposes or to circumvent security measures
  • Share, transfer, or expose your license key to unauthorized parties
  • Exceed the number of devices authorized by your license

4. Subscription & Payment

  • License Duration: Licenses are valid for the period specified at purchase (monthly, annual, or custom)
  • Renewal: Licenses are not auto-renewed. You will receive reminders before expiry
  • Pricing: Clearly displayed at time of purchase. No hidden fees
  • Refunds: Available within 30 days of purchase if the Software is materially defective
  • Trial: Demo users receive limited functionality. Full feature access requires a valid license

5. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. By using the Software, you consent to the data practices described therein.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights, remain with AntiMatter AV and its licensors. The Software is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL DETECT ALL THREATS OR THAT YOUR SYSTEM WILL BE COMPLETELY SECURE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANTIMATTER AV BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • You must uninstall and delete all copies of the Software
  • You may request deletion of your personal data per our Privacy Policy
  • Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [TO BE UPDATED], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [TO BE UPDATED].

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
